I got surprised and said “So you know beforehand that I would be getting the job?”
He said “of course”
I got angry at him and asked him “What about kumar sir presence”
He replied “of course. They told me to send you. They told me about job and apartments. They told me that they will surprise you”
I said “So? You didn’t tell me all that?”
He replied “If I said about kumar sir joining you at the house, you wouldn’t go there and you wouldn’t get this job and apartments”
I couldn’t speak anything because what he did was right thing. I wouldn’t get this job and apartments if I say no.
He said “I gave you a hint that their ego will get hurt. I told you not to quote high price.”
I said “Amit….you should have told me beforehand about this…I wouldn’t have quoted so high”
He replied “It was your lucky day”
I said “yeaa but you could have lied to them about price I was asking. I asked for 4 right? You could have told them I have accepted for 2”
He said “You want me to lie about what you said? You would accuse me as cheater”
I said “ok fine…..what you did is right…..”
Amit said “I was helpless. They told me to keep it a secret. They said they will offer you more money for both sleeping with you but told me nothing else. I would have rejected the deal if there were no job or apartments. That’s the only reason why I accepted it.”
I nodded my head.
Amit said “You remember what I did when I sent you to Aakash and Rakesh?”
I put angry face and said “I remember. You left me naked in middle of neighborhood”
He continued “I would do it openly……like that…..I would take your consent or at least take your permission to keep deal a secret until last minute. You also wanted Rs. 5 lakhs badly that time. I would lie about small things for sure but never about the big things especially money. I am open and transparent. I take commission right royally. I would lie about small things. At least not in a way which would hurt client’s interest or your interest”
