I replied “Oh I got it. So, if you are involved in middle. There is no way to know to establish the proof between your client and me”
He replied “Exactly. If two people are involved, a middle man like me is involved”
I asked “But Amit…..we all three are involving in secret chat application ………….is that not digital footprint?”
He replied “Silly! That apps deleted everything and its end to end encrypted. Nobody is tracking anything. It is not given to any ad companies or marketers. App is custom made and it is not available to public”
I asked “So what Amit? Can’t I create a group myself and chat with clients directly?”
He laughed and said “ok Let’s imagine such situation. You create a group and you set a deal with client. After few minutes the chat gets wiped out of your phone right?”
I replied “yes”
He continued “You say Rs. 3 lakhs is the deal. He says ok in app and even orally he will say its ok. Once he slept with you, he will say that he will give only Rs. 1 lakh. What will you do? Who is the witness or proof that actual deal is set for Rs. 3 lakhs?”
I couldn’t answer anything.
He continued “Let’s say you register an agreement. Why would they ask witnesses to sign it? Sometimes they ask up to two witnesses to sign it. This is the exact same reason. Someone should authenticate the deal happening between two people because disputes may arise in future”
I remained silent.
He continued “Imagine another scenario. You set a deal with client directly. You may say many things to him. How can he believe you? If I say I am good person, would you believe me? That’s called self-certification. Even a criminal in jail would say he is innocent and certifies himself as good person. Hence, people like me are involved. These clients trust us because we provide them authentic service to them. We are open and transparent. We give all information to them. For example, take your case. Aswin told me everything about you to me. We do all enquiries before bringing people like you into this. We do many checks behind you. Only after we feel safe, we ask your consent to join in this.”
I said “ok Now I understand”

He continued “We do all the dirty work for them. We set the deals, we deal with money and take care of all arrangements to send you to the client safely. These clients are very busy and don’t have time to do all negotiations and work involved. They just want to sleep with someone and enjoy the pleasure. They don’t care about losing few thousands. They run companies worth many crores and also take salaries in crores. They will not take risk and burden for saving few thousands”
I remained silent.
Meanwhile Rahul went outside to take a call.
I asked “but Amit, Rahul dropped me at client’s house in my car. It got recorded in camera outside the gate. Wouldn’t that establish the fact that I am related to Ashok sir?”
He replied “So what? Aren’t you PA working in his company officially? Your appointment letter date is much before the day you went to his house. It should actually be dated on same day but they told about back date later which I was unaware of”
