So, next morning she went out for ‘Maa Saradashram’ with shaky legs… her heart was thumping like a novice examinee… the faces of her two children, son-in-law, relatives, friends flashing in her mind. Oh God! What an embarrassing situation it might be if they ever got to know the truth.

Her only son Suman, a shy young and introvert agent of a pvt insurance company went out to visit with one of his policy holders early in the morning and wouldn’t be home soon. Although her beautiful married daughter was arrived yesterday on occasion of the Bengal’s great festival ‘Durgapuja’, her son-in-law wouldn’t be able to come on account of participating in the national level cricket match.

So, the great religious minded mother of two Supriya Chowdhury proceeded to ‘Maa Saradashram’ alone by herself… mulling over the issue in her mind but couldn’t seem to get anywhere. On her way she remembered it was Thursday… a special day for prayer… almost all the disciples would arrive there and she must not be missed.

Although the large ‘Ashram’… protected by a high-rise fencing… a place, just one km away from her house, she couldn’t attend the daily ‘Puja & Prayer’… hold in the early morning and evening in the ‘Ashram’ because of her irregular shooting schedule. But today, she had enough time and thought she might find some answers there… which were constantly irritating her mind for the last few days.

However before going there she quietly and quickly took a bath in the sacred river ‘The Ganges’ and dressed herself in a red-bordered white Saree with a white blouse, she used only for her ‘Puja & Prayer’ and left the house without waking her still sleeping daughter and husband.

She slipped into the back of the ‘Ashram’ just to avoid the rush when she could hear a shooting religious song ( Tumi Surya Tumi Chandra… ) singing in chorus… and making the atmosphere a heavenly one. As she entered the large worship-room, she saw at least fifty devotees praying with the the great priest Swami Nityananda Maharaj.

The great priest stood in front of the large 10 feel height white marble statue of the great goddess ‘Parvati Maa’, dressed in just a long saffron ‘Dhuti’. He was a tall lean man in his early 40’s with long hairs, strong body and stern eyes behind his horn rimmed glasses.

Many devotees, mainly from Bengali community had gathered there with their desires and expectations… they wanted blessing of the great Sanyasi Swami Nityananda Maharaj. The devotees were satisfied by seeing him… and he not only fulfilled the desire of his devotees but also, gave them mental peace and serenity… somehow he found out a solution of their problems.
