On Monday morning, she went for her weekly checkup and the nurse told her she was three cm dilated. She was admitted to the nursing home … given a private room as her brother sat beside her … holding her hand through the labor pains and wiping her forehead as the beads of sweat came through her pores. He is a very caring and loving brother, and he knows he will really care about the baby.
At 6:13 PM, Soma pushed out her baby … a baby-boy. They were all happy because that allowed her official and legal husband an opportunity to raise a boy. On the other hand, it gave her brother a sense of pride knowing his seed would carry on a new generation.
And she herself was extremely glad that finally she becomes a real mother … as she expressed her deepest gratitude to the great Goddess ‘Parvati Maa’ for fulfilling her ultimate wish. It’s also a relief that she could now raise her brother’s baby with her husband’s full support. The lactation specialist came into the room and asked if she was comfortable with her “Dada ( Elder Brother )” being in the room while she helped the baby-boy latch on for his first meal.
“If it weren’t her Dada, this moment would’ve not been possible,” She responded instantly and it seemed the nurse didnt understand … but the three of them certainly did.
Suman smiled proudly … as he leaned over and kissed his sister squarely on the mouth right in front of the nurse while his son was suckling at her right breast. And his Bhognipoti ( Sister’s Husband ) sat at the foot of the bed … taking pictures of that rare and happiest moment. He could sense the pride and boastful attitude coming from him as he took pictures of him holding her while she was breastfeeding the new born baby.
Suman decided to stay with his sister for two more weeks to help her so that that the baby boy could nurse, change, dress properly for the next couple of weeks. Knowing that it is a 24-hour job, Rahim allowed him to sleep in his bed beside his wife when she arrives home from the nursing home until he leaves. He himself would sleep in the guest-room … so he doesn’t disturb them when he gets up and continues to take the daily chores.
The great news of Soma’s motherhood reached instantly to the their relatives. They all congratulated the holy priest Swami Nityananda Maharaj, though her mother Supriya, to this day, never suspects that her son is the real father of her grandson … and she could feel this impossible task only becomes possible through their Guruji’s blessing … if she knows the truth.
So, although it hardly seems like five months have passed since Rahim first found out the exploits between his wife and her brother, the result of their tryst has arrived. He really loves the baby and cares for him as if he is his own, but in the back of his mind, he will always know that his wife’s womb and body will never be totally devoted to him. However he expects she’ll allow her brother to suck the milk from her breasts, but he wants to do that, too.
“My baby’s home, my baby’s home,” Supriya screamed … plastering her body against her son. She ran across the kitchen and then stood on her tiptoes … throwing her arms around her son’s neck.
