Me: “Ok, then pack. Let’s leave.”
Shwetha leaned back “I don’t want to go… I want to stay with you like this.”
I kissed her forehead gently. “But you said you have to go back.”
She looked up at me, eyes soft but insistent. “Yeah… but I don’t want to go back.”
I sighed, brushing a strand of hair from her face. “Neither do I. But we have to, right?”
Her lips curved into a mischievous smile. “What if I told you… I told my parents I’m not coming, and they agreed?”
I lifted my head and curiously. “What did you say?”
Shwetha sat up slightly, her voice teasing. “I told my parents I wouldn’t come today… and that one of my friends was taking me to her place and I’ll come tomorrow. They were okay with it.”
The moment she said that, I didn’t think twice—I pulled her close and hugged her tightly.
Me: “That’s a wonderful surprise, babe.”
Shwetha: “I know… I even wanted to stay with you this evening.”
Me: “Love you.”
Shwetha: “Love you too. Now, what’s your surprise?”
Me: “I’ll wait for the sun to go down, then I’ll tell you what I’ve actually planned.”
Around 7 PM, the soft light of the evening making the room feel intimate.
I handed her the packet, and whispered for her to wear it, then stepped outside the room.
As I had arranged earlier, I had asked the hotel staff to set up a private table in another room, with food and a cake ready and i got the wine bottle. Everything just for the two of us.
I took my bag and got ready in another room, my anticipation growing with every passing moment.
Around 8 PM, she called me, asking where I was. I told her, “If you’re ready, I’ll come over.”
She replied, “I’m ready.”
I walked toward room, but it was locked. I knocked, and she opened the door.
There she stood, wearing that -slit midi sheath dress. She looked absolutely stunning—my jaw nearly dropped at the sight of her. I had to take a moment to steady myself before saying, “You look stunning.”
Then I blindfolded her and led her to the room where I had set up everything.
The moment she stepped inside, I gently removed the blindfold. Her eyes widened as she took in the sight—candlelight, the table set with food and cake, and the intimate arrangement I had prepared just for us.
A bright smile spread across her face, lighting up the room. She looked genuinely delighted.
I pulled out a chair for her. As she sat down, her eyes widened at the decorations and the surprise.
Shwetha: What is all this?
Me: Just a little surprise for my favorite girl.
Shwetha: Wow… this is amazing. How did you manage all this?
Me: I planned it the day we decided to come. I asked the hotel staff to set it up—cake, food, everything.
Shwetha: I really love it… no one’s ever done something like this for me. Not even Aditya (He was her Ex).
Me: I just wanted to make you happy.
Shwetha: Thank you… you really made my day.
I pulled a bottle of wine from my bag along with two glasses.
Her eyes widened, a mix of surprise and delight lighting her face.
Shwetha: You brought wine too?
Me: How can a perfect date be complete without it?
Shwetha: Oh my God… this is amazing. You really know how to flatter me. Thank you.
