Slipping Into Shwetha’s Nights – 4

There are incidents I’ve written in my diary, and I remember many of them. Some of the words have been slightly changed from how we actually spoke.

Continuation of the story.

We came back inside the wedding tent after a few minutes. I held her hand firmly as we walked, but she said softly, “I’ll be back in a bit,” and stepped out.

I waited for ten minutes, but she still didn’t return. Concerned, I went outside to look for her, scanning the area—but she wasn’t anywhere to be found. Just as I started to worry, she came out of the washroom, looking slightly flustered.

I couldn’t resist teasing her a little. “All work done without any issues?”

She smiled faintly. “Yes…”

I raised an eyebrow. “And what were you doing inside for the last ten minutes?”

She blinked, slightly caught off guard. “I just went in… I was talking with Mom for ten minutes.”

I nodded, chuckling lightly. “Okay… just so you know, the wedding knot will be tied soon. We should go back.”

She gave a small nod, and we walked back together toward the tent, the playful tension between us easing a little with each step.

She looked a little more relaxed, so I started a random conversation to keep things light between us.

After the wedding, we wished the newlyweds, had lunch, and said our goodbyes.

On the way back, I told her, “Once we reach, we’ll get changed and hit the road.”

Shwetha hesitated slightly and said, “ I have a headache. I need a nap… maybe thirty minutes.”

I tried to make it easy for her. “You can sleep in the car, it’s fine.”

She shook her head gently, insisting, “No… I want to sleep properly in a bed.”

I nodded “Okay”.

After reaching the hotel, she went into the bathroom to change, and I did the same.

I said softly, “Take a nap… in another hour we’ll leave.”

She lay down on the bed, then shyly asked, “Can I… sleep on your lap?”

I smiled, “It would be my pleasure,” I said, inviting her to lie down.

Once settled, she tilted her head up at me, teasingly. “If we had stayed… what had you planned for the evening?”

My fingers brushing lightly over her arm. “If we stayed… you’d get to know.”

She pouted slightly. “Tell me na…”

I shook my head. “Nope. It’s a surprise.”

Her eyes darkened with curiosity and desire. “Okay… at least give me a hint?”

“Nope.”

Her voice dropped to a soft, almost pleading whisper. “Please…”

Me – If i tell you now, I can’t do it next time so.. Don’t ask anything love..

She said, “Fine,” and started talking about random things, trying to fill the quiet. I, meanwhile, was busy playing with her hair, letting my fingers lightly massage her forehead, feeling the warmth of her skin under my touch.

Time slipped away unnoticed. Glancing at the clock, I realized more than an hour had passed.

I leaned closer, my voice gentle but firm. “Stop talking and rest for a while… it’s getting late.”

She shook her head. “I’m not feeling sleepy yet.”

“You have a headache… just close your eyes for a few minutes. Otherwise, it will get too late by the time we leave.”

She tilted her head slightly, a playful smile forming. “I don’t even have a headache.”

Please wait…
