“Was it one of you that fucking robbed me!” I demanded. From the look on her face, she’ knew who it was.
“Your father is a powerful man Tommy; people do what he says.”
Dressed in a gown I sat down with Lexy next to me. She told how she’d been blackmailed and how I’d sorted it out. How she’d had a nightmare that night and I had comforted her. “I’ve never been so frightened.” Lexy said, with tears behind the laughter. “Did I hurt you?”
