I went to the room and Amit is already sleeping.
I ate dinner, flossed my teeth and went to sleep as I was very exhausted.
I woke up next morning. Its 7AM. I went to the gym and returned back. Amit woke up and reading newspaper.
“So Ranjit, Rahul gave me these memory cards, he asked you to edit these pics and also select nice ones”
“Nisha….stop calling me that. I am Amit”
“Call me Neha”
“Dear. Call me Amit”
We both smiled at each other.
“Neha dear. My name is still Amit in short form”
“I actually never thought your name would be that”
“How was your session yesterday?”
“Rahul had crush on me. He said he wants to sleep with me but since you have a mutual understanding, he said it’s wrong to sleep with me”
“Really? He said that?”
“Yes. He said you had a dispute long back about something”
“Neha dear. He made that mistake at that time. He felt guilty. Finally, we had an understanding. To be honest, that’s the best thing ever happened to us”
I kept a question mark face.
Amit said “Well my dear. We were working together. Main reason why I exited that business is because of that dispute. Today, I am in a much better position. I get lot of commissions. I know lot of big shots and valuable clients. I slept with many beautiful girls. I am leading a much better life”
I said “Hmmmm…”
Amit said “It was long back that we had that understanding. It was because we were in same business. Today, our lives are different. We parted our ways. In fact, Rahul also entered into this business as he is not earning much being a photographer.”
I said “What are you saying Amit?”
Amit said “Neha dear. I am just someone who takes cut from your deals. I cannot control you or own you. I am just a person who facilitates the deals. I am in this for money. If you want, you can sleep with him. In fact, you can search for deals on your own too. However, you should not take deals from clients introduced by me and avoid my commission. You are free to sleep with whoever you want to. However, like I said earlier, you should get tested for STDs every single week if you ever sleep with someone outside of my clients”
I said “Amit. Aren’t you and Rahul competitors now?”
Amit said “My dear Neha. Rahul knows girls who are even more beautiful than you because he is a photographer. He knows producers, directors, beautiful models. He knows people who work in TV, Films and Ads. He recommends girls to producers, directors etc. by taking commission or by sleeping with them.”
I said “What about you?”
Amit said “I know business men, politicians, professionals, bureaucrats and their PAs. Our set of contacts are different. Because I got links with business men, I also deal with real estate, lands and raising loans for commission”
I said “So you are ok if I ask deals from Rahul too?”
Amit said “He is relatively new to this business but he is also getting good at it. However, ask Rahul for discount on those photographs if you want them for free. Because I introduced Rahul to you. Now you may get benefitted from it. So, those photos will not be free. I will not pay from my pocket”
