Robin addressed Jim and Mia. “You know how to play ‘Seven minutes in heaven?'” she asked.

“Okay,” Robin said. “Heaven is upstairs and the time limit is suspended.”
Mia grabbed Jim’s hand and pulled him toward the stairs. “This is going to be fun,” she called back to the rest of us.
The four of us remaining in the living room drew another card. I drew a king and Robin’s ace beat Abbey’s queen. An overjoyed Robin pulled me to my feet and half dragged me in the direction of the stairs. We left Donte and Abbey on the floor contemplating their fate. “What do we do?” asked Donte.
